Be Encouraged (Consider the Lillies)

The Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) is a text worth reflecting on right now.

As we continue to look to love and support our Star of Hope family I am deeply convicted that now is the time to rest in the Lord.  I know the tendency of our human nature is to busy ourselves with things.

We are a “what’s next” society moving from one thing to the next without much pause.

For believers, however, there is unexplainable peace and tranquility to be found in listening instead of talking, resting instead of scrambling, and allowing the Lord to speak.

While there is more work to be done in the days ahead I would be remiss if I did not encourage you to stop and rest.

This video will be a blessing.  It is personal and true.  Find a quiet place and allow God to minister to you with a heartfelt word from Pastor Tony Evans.
