Who has impacted your life for the good? Who has encouraged and built you up? Very likely it is someone who is or was close. As Paul wrote, “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us” (1 Thessalonians 2:8). We, at Star of Hope Ministries, Inc., pursue this supportive relationship with our Member Network. And we encourage them to pursue this kind of relationship with the households within their communities.
We have found that often it is not only the physical resources, but the “intangibles” that empower and engage communities. These intangibles emerge as lives touch lives. They drive the kind of support we offer and the ministry of the Member Network. Impacts we see today include:
-Indigenous leaders being developed
-Churches gaining 501(c)(3) status
-New programs benefiting the community initiated
-Educational and recreational after-school services provided -Hungry people fed
-People in recovery mentored
-Resources and services navigated with Star of Hope support

Each of these empowers network churches and organizations to embrace families in their communities. Embraced families gain the hope, skills and relationships necessary to become self-sufficient, solve their own problems and reflect honor to the Lord Jesus Christ. Together with this Network we seek to embrace 150 families per quarter this year. Will you join hands with us as together we transform neighborhoods one household at a time?
